The NPC Education Team provides in-depth research and analysis of issues within education, from truancy to special educational needs.

The team’s detailed analysis helps donors and funders to support education initiatives more effectively by:

• explaining the areas of greatest need, identifying funding gaps, and putting issues into the context of UK education policy
• advising on how best to support causes such as literacy and truancy and exclusion
• highlighting examples of charities that could use donations to best effect, and
• suggesting options to solve specific problems, or to target particular groups of people.

The Education Team works closely with NPC’s other research teams (including health, community and environment) to identify common themes, problems and solutions.
