It can take up to 18 months for analysts to research and produce a report. Two to three different analysts − including a senior analyst − work on each research project to guarantee that rigorous critical assessment is built into the process.

What does it mean if a charity or project is not recommended?

If a charity or project is not recommended, this does not imply any criticism. Practical constraints prevent us from producing a comprehensive list of charities. However, our list of recommended charities is regularly assessed and periodically updated as situations change. New organisations and projects are considered as part of the updating process.
