The Advisory Team delivers advice to donors on NPC’s mission and services.

Lucy de Las Casas, Head of Advisory

Lucy manages the Donor Advisory team, which provides strategic consulting advice to donors. For example, Lucy has provided advice to family foundations and grant-making trusts, on their grant-making strategy and processes. Lucy co-authored Going global, a review of international development funding by UK trusts and foundations. Lucy previously worked at the One World Trust on its Accountability Programme, and at Gemini Consulting as a strategy consultant. She has an MSc in Environment and Development Studies. Padraic Brick, Senior Consultant

Padraic conducts and manages research and delivers advice to donors on effective giving. This includes work with corporates to design giving strategies that fit a company's mission and values and employee's interests. Padraic is currently working on a forthcoming NPC report, How to fund, which will examine the impact achieved by different types of grants. Padraic worked previously for Analysys Consulting and has a Masters in Engineering from the University of Cambridge. pbrick@philanthropycapital.org

Emily Clayson, Client Development Manager

Emily works in the Advisory team at New Philanthropy Capital, managing client relationships and delivering NPC’s charity portfolio service. She also oversees NPC's grant-management systems. Emily previously worked at UK disability charity, Scope. She has completed a Masters in Development Management with the Open University.

Liz Sklaroff, Senior Consultant
Liz designs projects that deliver strategies for increasing the effectiveness and impact of philanthropic giving amongst corporations and foundations. Prior to joining NPC in February 2008, Liz directed the US operations for PrivatSea in New York City and was in charge of evaluation strategy and community development funding at The John S and James L Knight Foundation in Miami, Florida. Lena Schreiber, Senior Consultant

Lena provides research and strategic consulting advice on effective charitable giving to businesses, foundations and individuals. Prior to joining NPC Lena worked as an analyst for a strategic risk consultancy in London. Anna Wright, Administration Assistant

Anna joined NPC in March 2008 and is responsible for administration for the Advisory team. She has a degree in Psychology from Sussex University and prior to joining NPC worked for Rothschild Investment Bank. awright1@philanthropycapital.org
